1. Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, Abu Dabhi, United Arab Emirates

2. Sheikh Lotfollah Mosque, Isfahan, Iran
Actually, there are several mosques in the city of Isfahan that have architectural characteristics similar to the Sheikh Lotfollah Mosque, including the Shah Mosque and the Imam Mosque. The three of them were built using a combination of ceramic material and piruz stone and together made purplish-blue as its main color.
Compared to the two mosques, the Sheikh Lotfollah Mosque is larger in the area and has a more complicated architectural character so that it is known as one of the architectural masterpieces owned by the Iranian state. 3. Masjid Al-Nabawi, Madinah, Saudi Arabia
Who does not know the Al-Nabawi Mosque? The mosque which was originally founded directly by the Prophet Muhammad has now been expanded to 100 square meters. As one of the holy travel destinations of Muslims around the world, the Al-Nabawi Mosque can accommodate as many as 500 thousand worshipers. This capacity makes the Al-Nabawi Mosque the second largest mosque after the Grand Mosque in Mecca.
One of the architectural characteristics that characterize this mosque is 250 giant umbrellas that are installed on pillars on the outside of the mosque. The giant umbrellas adorned with typical Middle Eastern ornaments are also equipped with automatic drainage and lighting systems.
4. Education City Mosque, Doha, Qatar
The mosque, located in the city of Doha, is the center of Islamic education in the city. With a capacity of 1,800 worshipers, the mosque is also open to the public. Education City Mosque has a unique design, futuristic architectural elements clearly visible applied to the exterior and interior of the mosque.
The futuristic structure on the exterior is seen in two minarets that tapered upwards as high as 90 meters, the slope directly leads to the city of Mecca. The inside of the tower and the dome are decorated with various carved calligraphy from Al-Quran verses. The largest mosque in Pakistan has a different building structure from mosques in general. This mosque does not have a round dome but rather a dome-shaped symmetrically, inspired by the tent where the Bedouin settled. The Shah Faisal Mosque has an area of 5,000 square meters and has the capacity to accommodate 50,000 worshipers.
Its symmetrical outer structure is the hallmark of contemporary Islamic architecture. This is also reflected in the interior of this mosque. The symmetrical domes that make up the roof of the mosque have a variety of attractive, brightly colored interior lighting, emphasizing the modern impression carried by the entire architecture.
6. The Blue Mosque, Istanbul, Turki
The Blue Mosque, also known as Sultan Ahmed Mosque, was once the center of Constantinople's government in the Byzantine kingdom. Named The Blue Mosque because of the six domes of the mosque, it will show a hint of light when exposed to light.
