Omen Bug in New Icebox Map Damages Valorant! Valorant’s newest map, Icebox has received quite a variety of responses from its fans.
There are those who like this Icebox because it brings a new theme for the Valorant map design, but there are those who don’t like this map too because they feel this map is very beneficial for only a few agents.
Even so, all Valorant players can agree that this Icebox map was quite buggy when it was first launched.
Map Icebox, presented at the same time as update patch 1.10 Act 3, and Valorant players just want to try this new map.
Bug in Map Icebox
Unfortunately, many players were not satisfied with their gaming experience on Map Icebox, and the biggest reason was that they encountered some bugs.
Apart from bad server connection while playing on the Icebox, Omen users encountered a bug that greatly benefited their favorite agent.
One of the Valorant players pointed out the bug which allowed Omen to teleport under the Kitchen in the Icebox.
This glitch allows Omen to leave the map without being seen, while the other agents remain visible.

This can provide commenters and their team with information that is very important in the match and of course this is not what Valorant was planning to do

Valorant Response to the Omen bug
Of course, seeing the comments and input given by players, the Valorant developer, Riot Games, immediately considered it quickly and issued a new update that fixed the Omen bug.
Thanks for bearing with us while we fix the issues with Icebox. We’ve squashed most of the serious bugs, but there are a few (including an audio glitch) that the next patch will fix. Until then, you can still play on Icebox in Unrated, but, like always, be ready for anything.

This is not the first time Omen has experienced this game breaking bugsPreviously, this agent also got a bug in the Bind map that could make him teleport out of the spawn barrier at the start of the round. However, Riot Games quickly fixed this bug.
The Icebox map will not be available in competitive mode until October 27, 2020, along with the arrival of the newest agent, Valorant Skye.
For the time being, players can try out the Icebox maps in Unrated mode, Custom Game and Spike Rush.
